Fiscal Year 2019-20 Beginning-of-the-Year Letter: Program and Accountability Requirements for Student Outcome Data Collection and Submission

Description:

Fiscal Year 2019–20 Beginning-of-the-Year Letter includes program and accountability requirements for student outcome data collection and submission. The letter includes information and links to documents outlining data accountability requirements, program changes for 2019-20, MIS reporting parameters as well and notice of upcoming data accountability training and includes link to relevant documents.

How to Use it:

Refer to this letter for requirements relating to the 2019-20 data accountability requirements and program changes for 2019-20. Be on the lookout for a new beginning of the year letter to be released at the beginning of each fiscal year.

Measuring Our Success: Data and Accountability Systems and Common Assessment in the California Adult Education Block Grant Program

Description:

Assembly Bill 104, Section 84920 requires the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office and the California Department of Education to identify common measures for determining the effectiveness of members of each consortium. This report addresses the above requirements by providing a description of reporting elements and processes, data definitions, and assessment policies.

How to Use it:

Use this report to review the data and accountability system elements, processes, data definitions and policies as well as to learn why the student data was set up as it is.

Student Progress Framework

Description:

The Student Progress Framework aligns elements from Completion by Design Momentum-Loss Framework with the objectives, populations, and core outcomes of AB104.

How to Use it:

The Student Progress Framework provides a visual organizer for thinking about how consortium goals and activities are aligned to student journeys, momentum points, and the AEP metrics, and can be a valuable resource for making decisions about logic model activities and outputs.
